Show the score or outcome first, explain it with answer-linked evidence and limitations, then present one primary next action. Keep retake, save and accessibility controls available without competing with the result. A quiz results page is the final state that explains the score, outcome, recommendation or feedback produced from a participant's answers. It is not merely a thank-you screen. The page should confirm that the quiz is complete, identify the result, make the decision rule understandable and show the next useful action. GOV.UK's confirmation-page pattern is designed for transactions rather than quizzes, but its durable structure transfers well: confirm completion, explain what happens next, provide useful links and offer a way to keep a record. A quiz adds one essential layer, the reasoning that connects answers to the displayed result. 02 ## Use a seven-part result-page template - Completion state: confirm that the quiz finished successfully. - Result label: show the score, outcome or recommendation in the first viewport. - Plain-language meaning: explain what the result does and does not mean. - Answer-linked evidence: name the two or three factors that most affected it. - Next action: offer one result-matched action with specific link text. - Secondary controls: allow retake, review, save or contact without competing with the main action. - Method and correction: link to scoring details, limitations and a way to report an error.Answer-first wireframe Result: Operations-ready. The page displays 17 of 30, or 57%, and assigns the Developing band defined as 40% through 69%. It is useful because the action addresses the weakest factor, not a generic sales request. 05 ## Make dynamic results predictable and perceivable If a result replaces content without loading a new page, expose the change to assistive technology. W3C's status-message guidance covers programmatic notification when content reports a result without moving focus.
